Martell Forestry Center Conference (Week 8)
This week's entry will be shorter than most. This event was held October 15th, 2021 at the Martell Forestry Center. The event was to discuss environmental projects, plans, the forestry center, UAS use, and many more topics. Myself and Abdul a fellow AT209 student attended the annual meeting.

We both helped out during the 1:55pm to 2:55pm portion titled Clone Bank II/II. Along with Professor J. Hupy and another UAS majoring student, we set up both Mavic 2 pros and one Mavic M210 to display a takeoff, hovering, preprogrammed flight, and landing. During this flight explanation was given on the capabilities of the Mavics and there potential use in the forestry data collection world.
Assessment:
The event entirely, and the performance of the Mavics especially, was a good demonstration to non-UAS involved scientists or companies looking to utilize the abilities that the UAS market has to offer. Furthermore, the networking that was gained from the event will be useful in the future.
