Working with Attribute Data in ArcGIS Pro

The ability to conceptualize and query data on a large scale is made possible with the multitude of tools ArcGis Pro has available. The data below is an assortment of Airmen rating certifications held within the continental United States. It should be noted that before any analysis is done, one must make sure that join fields are being shared amongst datasets and that a uniform and correct projection is being used to accurately represent different data points.

The map above gives us a base level representation of all the held ratings of airmen in the U.S. As you can see, the map is extremely noisy and quite overwhelming. Querying out data based on attributes can help one pick and choose what they want to show on the map.

Above is all airmen in the continental U.S. holding a type P (pilot) rating, of course there are a lot of licensed pilots in the U.S., so the map is still a bit crowded. Below is a map with multiple attributes queried out. Licensed pilots who also have a commercial licenses.

The next map underneath is all Part 107 unmanned aviation pilots. Along with all Part 107 certified Indiana residents.
